The young fighter out of Belgrade, Serbia is coming off of his best win, a majority decision victory over Dion Staring. Stosic’s sole loss came at the hands of elite light heavyweight prospect Jiri Prochazka.  Stosic has impressive power.  He is a guy with one punch knockout type power in his punches.  Another thing that stood out about him is the power that he throws in his kicks.  He can absolutely do damage to an opponent’s leg.  He is not a high volume striker necessarily, but he does seem to be very technical in his striking.  He has also shown good takedowns.  In some of his takedowns he not only showed great timing, but some power in the takedowns.  In addition, Stosic has shown an ability to finish with submissions.  He is not a submission stylist, but he does have that tool if he needs it.  I would like to see him fight some tougher competition, but I also understand that options are limited at heavyweight in the regional scene.  I really like Stosic as an under the radar prospect that could make an impact in the UFC.  I do not believe it will be long until he gets a chance to fight on a bigger stage.
