Jiri has one of the best resumes on our list. The win over Kazuyuki Fujita does not mean what it once did, but its still a solid win. However, wins over Satoshi Ishii, Vadim Nemkov and Michal Fijalka are solid wins as well. Currently signed with Rizin, it is unclear how long he will stay with the Japanese-based promotion, but he is a solid up and coming fighter in the division. Jiri has good hands and has a little pop in his punches. Another thing that stands out about Jiri is that he has good movement and is light on his feet for a bigger guy. He also does a good job mixing in kicks into his combinations and uses them to set up power punches. While he has good striking overall, I believe there are times where his striking defense was not superb. In fact, he was knocked out cold by King Mo. Jiri is also spending time fighting at heavyweight, which is a tough task. He is currently fighting in the Rizin Grand Prix. I do not expect him to win that grand prix, but afterwards, I do expect that he builds up a resume that will establish him as a sought after prospect at light heavyweight. He is a guy that we could see in the UFC or Bellator eventually.
