Pavlovich is the best prospect in the heavyweight division and right now it really is not close.  He is a very big, strong and athletic heavyweight with tons of upside.  Sergey has great power in his punches and really thrives in his boxing technique.  His striking techniques are very much centered around punches, but he will occasionally throw in knees and kicks.  He does land punches in combination, which is very good.  The other thing that I notices is that not only are his punches crisp, but they are quick for his size.  I have some concern about the fact that he throws most of his punches with real power and that could affect him in later rounds.  Pavlovich is not afraid to go to the ground, but he does have decent takedown defense and has the ability to make fighters pay for sloppy takedown attempts.  Like many heavyweights, Pavlovich does not often goes the distance in fights, but when he does, his cardio is an issue.  So far Pavlovich has handled every opponents thrown his way.  He has beaten solid grapplers and gritty veterans.  He may be a bit young, but I believe that there are not many tests for Sergey outside the UFC.  He has made clear his desire to be in the UFC, so I expect that could be a reality soon.  Pavlovich is a real blue chip prospect.  The other heavyweight prospects on this list are solid, many of them are UFC caliber, but Pavlovich is on a different trajectory.  He is a potential top level fighter.
