Tanner Boser is a guy that has steadily improved from fight to fight.  As he emerged as a prospect, I felt that his bestchance was at light heavyweight.  He was almost bullish on staying at heavyweight.  It looks like he may have made a good move.  He has grown and put on some size and strength.  Boser has a few good wins on his resume including a recent win over Tony Lopez and avenging his loss to Tim Hague.  Boser has had some decent moments on his feet, but he clerly has some work to do with his striking technique.  I believe he leaves himself open to be hit too many times.  He also is not the most acurate striker.  However, I do believe he has good movement.  He switches stances often and appears to have decent speed for a heavyweight.  Boser is stilla  bit raw overall, but I think with the right training that he could be a good heavyweight.  He reminds me somewhat of Cody East in his skills.  Boser has shown some solid leg licks, which he should employ more frequently.  Tanner really does not do great off of his back and does not seem to be a submission threat from there.  I do believe that Boser’s offensive wrestling is underrated.  When he wants to engage in wrestling he does a decent job.  He has a variety of takedowns in his arsenal.  I also think that he has decent takedown defense.  Despite a few areas of weakness, I think Boser stands a good chance to get to the UFC soon.  He can win fights in the division, he is young and talented.
